Milled Channels

Secondary floor waste added to bathroom floor after completion of works to remove excess water from shower. 3 drainage channels where milled into the travertine floor to guide the water to the floor waste ensuring the underlying fabric of the property was not compromised.

Floor joists were raised and strengthened to support the weight of this huge cast iron boat bath (weighing in at a hefty 180kgs when empty). A curve in the front face of the platform was incorporated creating a feature of this necessity and making it a part of the overall room design.
Raised floor
The shower rose was recessed into the ceiling due to the lack of height in this 14th century property allowing for the practical use of a modern necessity.
Another recessed shower rose, this time utilising exposed shower brightware.
